2019 has been an eventful year in politics and now a General Election has been called and will take place on December 12th.

Churches Together in Hitchin is organising its customary hustings at which candidates will have the opportunity to set out their policies and answer questions from voters.

General Election hustings organised by Churches Together in Hitchin, Tuesday 26th November 7.30 - 9.30 pm at Christchurch, Bedford Road, Hitchin (opposite Waitrose). As in 2017, it will be chaired by Rev Canon Jane Mainwaring of St Mark's.

All candidates are being invited to attend to state their policies and to answer questions from voters. The candidates so far confirmed have all indicated that they will be there and we will have a final list after nominations close on 14th November.

Questions are welcome and will be put to candidates.
